Not easy to become a Legend
Whenever I think about musical excellence rooted in discipline and humility, Mr. Rahman’s journey immediately comes to mind. His relationship with music began incredibly early at just 4 years old and by the age of 11, he had already gained recognition for his remarkable talent. What truly stands out to me, though, isn’t just how early he found fame, but how seriously he committed himself to learning and growing as a musician.
As I learned more about his life, I was struck by the sacrifices he made for his family. Those experiences clearly shaped his powerful work ethic. His willingness to work late into the night, constantly learning and refining his craft, reflects a deep sense of responsibility and passion that goes far beyond talent alone. Over the years, Mr. Rahman has been honored with some of the world’s most prestigious awards, including two Academy Awards (Oscars), two Grammy Awards, and a BAFTA Award achievement that place him among the greatest composers of our time. Yet, what I admire most is that these accolades never changed his attitude. Despite global recognition and success, he remains grounded and constantly driven to create something new. Each composition feels like a fresh beginning rather than a reminder of past victories.
Final Thoughts Mr. Rahman’s story is a powerful reminder that true greatness is built on discipline, sacrifice, and lifelong learning. From a young prodigy to an internationally celebrated musical icon, his journey continues to inspire me not just as a lover of music, but as someone who believes in staying humble, working hard, and never losing the hunger to create.
